Hiking

Hungry Mother Park provides about 13 miles of hiking and biking trails in the Brushy Mountain Range. There are seven different trails varying in length and difficulty.

These well-marked passages take the hiker through mature forest and tall growths of oak, maple, pine, and hemlock or in long lakeside ravines with a thick cover of rhododendron. Hikers will also see evidence of damaged trees from past fires, ice storms, and native animals.

Whichever trek you take, be sure to follow all state park guidelines. Stop by the Discovery Center for more information on the guides and trails.
